Making a contract with us
By placing an order for promotional merchandise with us you are offering to purchase a product on and subject to the following terms and conditions.
2.1 – All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price.
2.2 – Dispatch times may vary according to availability and any guarantees or representations made as to delivery times are subject to any delays resulting from postal delays or force majeure (including Brexit disruption) for which we will not be responsible.
2.3 – When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order.
2.4 – Once we have reviewed your order we will e-mail you again to confirm that we have dispatched your order, and that a contract has been made between us.
2.5 – In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or that we have made a pricing mistake, we will advise you of this as soon as possible.
2.6 – When placing an order you undertake that all details you provide to us are true and accurate, that you are an authorised user of the credit or debit card used to place your order and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods. The cost of foreign products and services may fluctuate. All prices advertised are subject to such changes.
2.7 – Images of products on this website are for illustrative purposes only. Your goods may vary slightly from the image shown on the website and will not include any of the pictured accessories, unless stated in the specification of the goods.
2.8 – We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on this website. However, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the actual goods.
2.9 – Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on this Website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.
2.10 – Where applicable, prices are inclusive of VAT.
2.11 – Delivery costs may be charged in addition; such additional charges are clearly shown where applicable and included at checkout.
2.12 – This contract is covered by English law.
How to place an order
3.1 – You can use our website to place an order by selecting the product you wish to buy and adding it to your basket. Items you do not require can be removed from your basket at any time. If you prefer to order by telephone you can do so by calling +44 (0117) 2141497.
3.2 – Delivery charges will be shown prior to you placing your order.
3.3 – You will be required to pay for the goods in full at the time of ordering.
3.4 – We use secure payment facilities for online purchases provided by Stripe.
3.5 – Once your order has been confirmed, changes may not be possible, particularly if you have already received a dispatched email as chances are your order will be on the way. If you have made an error with your order, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
3.6 – Once your order is complete we will notify you of the dispatch date.
Delivery and carriage charges
4.1 – If you place your order before 1pm GMT, Monday-Friday goods will normally be dispatched the same day (excluding bank holidays.)
4.2 – Any estimated dispatch date is an estimate, which can change without notice.
4.3 – We will deliver the goods to the premises you specify on your order. The vast majority of our orders are delivered by Royal Mail.
4.4 – If your parcel is returned to us as undeliverable, usually because of an incorrect address or failure to respond to pick-up re-delivery instructions, we will contact you to arrange a re-delivery. This may be subject to a new delivery charge.
4.5 – Please check your goods on delivery – any goods found to be missing or damaged should be notified to us within 2 days of receipt.
4.6 – If the goods are lost or damaged in transit, please let us know promptly.
4.7 – Time is not the essence of the contract unless expressly stated otherwise in writing by a Director of the Company.
Cancellation and Returns
5.1 – We can only accept items returned to us within 60 days from the date your order was dispatched.
5.2 – All items must be returned to us before a refund or replacement is issued.
5.3 – Please don’t use scissors to open your package, you should be able to just tear the packaging open. Returns with scissor marks will not be accepted.
5.4 – Items must be returned to us in an unworn and unwashed condition, deemed fit for resale.
5.5 – Please be very careful when trying products on, for example, please ensure you are not wearing makeup, perfume, deodorant or antiperspirant which may leave marks on the product as we will not be able to arrange an exchange or refund for any item returned to us with any marks or stains.
5.6 – Please thoroughly inspect any item you order from us on receipt as we will only accept products returned to us in their original condition and fit for re-sale unless we have been given prior notice that an item is faulty.
5.7 – Delivery charges are non-refundable unless the item purchased is faulty or incorrect.
5.8 – To return an item to us, please complete the returns section of your invoice which will have arrived with your order. Please make sure you fill in all your details as required so that we can link your return with your original order. If you have misplaced your invoice please include a short note including your name and order number and let us know if you would prefer an exchange or a refund. Package up your returned item carefully and stick the returns address label provided on the bottom of the invoice to your parcel. Please note this returns label is just an address label and does not cover any postage costs. All you need to do now is take your parcel to your local Post Office to arrange for them to send it to us. As the returned item is your responsibility until it reaches us, for your own protection, we do recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods such as Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. As soon as we receive your returned item we will organise the exchange or refund for you and email you to let you know that this has been arranged.
5.9 – We will process your return within 3 working days of receipt max however the vast majority are processed the same day they are received.
5.10 – Returns for exchanges – you will receive an e-mail to confirm your return has been processed and your exchange shipped. Please expect it within 2 working days from when the e-mail was received. If you have not received it within 5 working days, please contact us.
5.11 – Returns for refund – we will issue your refund within 1 to 3 working days of receipt of your return. Once the refund has been processed, you will receive an email confirming this. Please then allow a further 3 working days for the refund to be credited to your card, this is dictated by your bank or card issuer. Delivery charges are non-refundable unless you have received an incorrect or faulty item from us.
5.12 – If the item you received is faulty, please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience. Please e-mail email@example.com quoting your name, order number and details of the product received. We will then advise on how to proceed.
5.13 – If the item you received is not what you originally ordered, please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience. Please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org quoting your name, order number and details of the incorrect product received. We will then advise on how to proceed.
5.14 – If a discount was applied to your original order, the amount refunded will be adjusted to allow for the revised order value and appropriate discount level.
5.15 – Distance Selling Regulations – under the United Kingdom’s Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order for any item purchased from Personal Privacy Solutions for a full refund. This does not apply to items that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons or have been unsealed. Order cancellations must be made in writing, quoting your name, address and order number, within 7 days of delivery of your item(s) by post to the address above. Once you have cancelled your order, the goods should be returned to the same address, in their original condition, within 14 days of receipt. The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods.
6.1 – The material displayed on this Website is provided without any guarantees, conditions or warranties as to its accuracy. Unless expressly stated to the contrary to the fullest extent permitted by law tapmydata.com and its suppliers, content providers and advertisers hereby expressly exclude all conditions, warranties and other terms which might otherwise be implied by statute, common law or the law of equity and shall not be liable for any damages whatsoever, including but without limitation to any direct, indirect, special, consequential, punitive or incidental damages, or damages for loss of use, profits, data or other intangibles, damage to goodwill or reputation, or the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services, arising out of or related to the use, inability to use, performance or failures of this Website or the Linked Sites and any materials posted thereon, irrespective of whether such damages were foreseeable or arise in contract, tort, equity, restitution, by statute, at common law or otherwise. This does not affect tapmydata.com’s liability for death or personal injury arising from its negligence, nor for fraudulent misrepresentation, misrepresentation as to a fundamental matter or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Neither we nor any other party (whether or not involved in producing, maintaining or delivering this Website), shall be liable or responsible for any kind of loss or damage that may result to you or a third party as a result of your or their use of our website. This exclusion shall include servicing or repair costs and, without limitation, any other direct, indirect or consequential loss.
Law and Jurisdiction
This Legal Notice shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Any dispute(s) arising in connection with this Legal Notice are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of England and Wales.
